ABOUT

My connection with cinema

“Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art.”

This quote from Stanislavski resonates deeply with me. Cinema has always guided me and continues to guide me today in my life choices so that I can devote myself to the career I aspire to. From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to live to tell stories, feel, create, and share.

My name is Ines Brin, I am 21 years old, and I am currently pursuing my acting career between New York and France. Since childhood, cinema has played an essential role in my life: my father passed on this love to me through films such as The Elephant Man, Sissi, and Singin' in the Rain. Since then, art has become a way of life for me, a way of understanding the world and pushing myself to new heights.

Day after day, the cinema remains a refuge for me as well as an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Thanks to its intimate yet collective environments, it brings me a unique form of comfort. I observe it with a gaze that is sometimes wonder-filled, sometimes analytical: each film becomes a place where hope, dreams, and reflection intermingle.

Education and Experience

My international journey took me from La Rochelle to Canada, London, the Hautes-Pyrénées, and Poitiers, and each of these places shaped my worldview and my approach to my art. What's more, by enriching my knowledge of languages, it has enabled me to expand my international film skills in terms of both acting and culture.

My artistic journey has been built around dance (ballet, classical, salsa, modern jazz), singing (choir, associations), theater (workshops, stage, short films, university, classes) . These different disciplines have taught me to fully inhabit my body, to listen to space, and to express myself beyond language.

After graduating with honors, I enrolled in a public university in performing arts, and I had the opportunity to do an internship at Cours Florent, where I refined my acting techniques in front of the camera.

To enrich my training, I lived in London as an au pair to perfect my English, then moved to the United States to pursue the same goal while immersing myself in American culture.

Today

Since arriving in New York, I have participated in workshops at Stella Adler, HB Studio, and in professional and student short films, notably with NYU directors.

I recently directed, produced, and acted in my own short film for the Nikon Film Festival, an important step in my artistic development.

Today, I continue to practice at the William Esper Studio, while continuing to work diligently and ambitiously to achieve my ultimate goal.

Ambitious, persevering, and passionate, I am determined to continue on this path to grow, perform, surpass myself, and share what has given my life deep meaning since childhood.
